* From Jay Vaughan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Just got a bit of very interesting information from Yamaha about something thats going to happen in the next couple of weeks relating to sales of Yamaha musical instrument products in the very near future. Ever noticed that you can't seem to buy Yamaha gear on the web? Ever notice that dealers/distributors of Yamaha products are not usually that easy to get a price out of, online-wise? That its usually easier to price/comparison shop for stuff other than Yamaha gear, and get lower prices online by shopping around for something other than Yamaha products? This is about to change, in a huge way. Yamaha have some policy changes in the works that will result in a massive shift for the way their brick-and-mortar distributors are going to be selling their products. Who stands to benefit from this? Us. The online sector of Yamaha customers. Stay tuned... (and, if you're shopping for Yamaha gear in the next few weeks, be prepared for some fun use of the Internet to do this...) j. -- Jay Vaughan | [EMAIL PROTECTED] TekLab | http://www.teklab.com {UsePGP:[YES] ICQ:[454804] IRC:[EFNet:#teklab/Torpor]} ** A3k Sample Library: http://www.samplelibrary.net/ ** ___________________________________________________________________________ The Yamaha Hardware Sequencer (qy/rm1x) Mailing List is a free service provided by TekLab and is open to all members of the Internet community.
