Hi,
I'm a totally newbie ...
I'm about to buy a RM1x. I'm looking for a
good pattern/linear sequencer for live gigs with
sampler (Emu) and others stuff (rythm box, synths, ...).
Was looking to the MPC2000 XL with his 2in/2out midi, but,
It's only a phrase sampler (I have a sampler) and in
comparison to the SU700, it's a poor phrase sampler, I think.
And I don't know about the MPC2000XL sequencing integration,
so I looked at the RM1x, which has sounds, very good
sequencing (based on the QY700, no ?), linear and pattern,
but only 1 in/out. But the live utilisation seems to be
more intuitive and efficient. Is it true, is it really
a piece of gear that can be in the center of a midi live stuff ?
Is it reliable ?
And do the "Midi format 0 import" really works ?
