got a problem:
I hooked up my Rm1x as master to my MPC2000. I set in midi setup the
'midi sync' to 'intr'. Both units are now in sync and i can program
sounds from the mpc & rm1x from the Rm1X alone.
The problem is i'm trying to sequence some beats from the mpc and let's
say a bassline from the rm1x. When i'm trying to play mpc sounds from
the rm1x keyboard, i keep hearing the rm1x internal sounds playing at
the same time.
Is there a way to play my mpc sounds from the rm1x keyboard (and record
a sequence) without hearing the rm1x sounds for that track (i could of
course turn off the volume of the rm1x completely, but i want to use some of
it's internal sounds on other tracks).
I've tried to find like an empty voice bank in the rm1x voice menu so
that triggering mpc sounds wouldn't trigger rm1x sounds at the same time
but ALL the banks seem to have sound in them.
Am i missing something?
