Simple...record your first pattern, then go into JOB> 18 COPY PHRASE.
>From there, you simply assign your 1st pattern to the upper number,
and your destination pattern to the lower. So, if your 'style/song'
is User Style #24, and your phrase is User Phrase 8, it should look
something like this:
Style=U24 Phrs=US 008
Style=U24 Phrs=US 009
That's assuming that you want to copy to location 009 of the same
song. Incidently, your best friend for operations like these is the
JOB>26 Phrase Name. Life is so much easier when you've named your
phrase.

Try JOB>34 Split Pattern
