Well, NAMM is just a few short weeks away, and I thought I'd try and at least organize in advance a bit of a get together for those that are interested and are travelling to LA to attend Winter NAMM 2000. I know that moron (of a3k-list and www.samplelibrary.net fame) is headed into these parts, and last year there were quite a few TekLab community list members in the LA area too. I'd be more than happy to host a get together for anyone that's interested here at the TekLab office - there's a (moderately famous) bar downstairs called The Dresden (Seen "Swingers"?), and plenty of local restaurants and coffee shops that should more than adequately be able to cater to a motley crew of worldly musicians, should they decide to recon in the Vermont Avenue neighbourhood of TekLab. If you're interested, drop me a note with your preference of date/time, and I'll pool the responses together over the next week or so and come up with a game plan. Might be a nice opportunity for some of us to get to know the faces behind the list members, I'd say. I'll be at NAMM this year as well - and am planning on doing a bit more in the web-coverage of NAMM this time, so if you've got suggestions or things you want to have looked into further, let me know and I'll start taking notes. j. -- Jay Vaughan | [EMAIL PROTECTED] TekLab | http://www.teklab.com {UsePGP:[YES] ICQ:[454804] IRC:[EFNet:#teklab/Torpor]} ** A3k Sample Library: http://www.samplelibrary.net/ ** TekLab SpyCam : http://lab1.teklab.com/~jay/spycam.html
