The SU700 can import .AIF samples from MAC/PC floppies (formatted as MS-DOS floppies).
That way you don't have to edit your start/end points. Though the largest sample you
can import will have to fit on 1 floppy, since you can't import across multiple FDs.
Supposedly you can connect an external SCSI CD-ROM drive and use it to import .AIF and
AKAI samples from CDs. Haven't tried this in practice, since I don't have such a
CDROM drive. So for those who want to edit short samples on computer and do some
tweaking, effects, editing before going into the SU700 to be used as a sample that is
how importing .AIFs could be useful. Unfortunately .WAVs are not importable at this
time. Though most PC software lets you save files as either .WAVs or .AIFs.
