I may be speaking outta me arse here, since I just got the RM1x less then a month ago,
and am still reading through the manual. Ignore my proposed solution if it doesn't
work, as I'm not too experienced with the RM1x's features.
According to the manual, the JUMP parameter chooses which measure the loop will "jump"
to when the STOP button is pressed. So if it's set to OFF or 1 it's going to jump
back to the beginning of the pattern. The beginning of the pattern presumably has the
volume levels set to max. So a possible workaround might be to set the JUMP measure
setting to the last measure in the particular pattern you are playing (i.e. "8" for an
8 bar measure). Maybe that way the volume will stay at the lower level that you had
it fading out to at the end of the pattern? Of course, if you want the pattern to
start over again after you press STOP you will have to hit the TOP |<- button to move
the measure back to 1.
Just a suggestion. Not sure if it will work.
