Does anyone here still intrigued by the sounds that Lords of Acid create on
their LUST CD from 1991? I can't tell if most of their synth sounds come
from tweaked samples or vintage synths.. Songs like Let's Get High, I Sit on
Acid, Mixed Emotions, and Pump My Body to the Top, have some really wild
synth sounds. Some are fat sounding and some are almost eery/spooky/spacey
sounding. Some sound like samples from opera music (anyone remember
Apotheosis?) tweaked, reversed, and turned into instruments. It's wild and
I love it. I have just never found anyone who is actually into it like I
am.. So am I riding solo here? Or does anyone else dig it?
Last night I was TWEAKING some of the RM1x pre-built sounds and boy did I
get some really cool effets. I've only had it less than a month, but I find
it an incredible instrument. Sorry there is no SPECIFIC relation to "hwseq"
and this message, other than the fact that I use an RM1x, AN1x, and now an
A3000..
