i'm here too! all the time still. it has indeed been quiet the last weeks.
been on the list for almost a year now. i guess the most urgent questions on
the rm1x have been answered. and then there's more and more sites starting
on the rm1x (see fi http://listen.to/rm1x). and that's cool. i prefer to
keep discussions on this teklab list. i know the onelist is a growing
society. for me the lively onelist works fine for my an1x
(http://www.onelist.com/group/AN1x-list where the teklab list has been lost
somewhere). although that list has come to rest also the past two weeks.
hmmm. is there a trend? is it because, spring is in the air (why should i
;-). still the teklab mailing list continues to give me good info on the
rm1x. it has become one of the roots of the rm1x.
i have a question that may be a bit of limits on the rm1x. i'm looking for a
samper to work with my rm1x. and i notice many of you guys and gals work
with the yam a3k. so now there is the new a4k and a5k. but there are so many
others like akai, emu, roland (eeeii), korg. and there are even software
samplers and i do own a pII-266. are there benifits of using yamaha gear
with the rm1x? or does anyone of y'all know a good website on choosing your
first sampler? please respond.
thanks,
ekosonic
