I have a setup question for anyone who is sequencing:
Do you find 16 channels on a sequencer to be enough? Do you have more
instruments/channels than that, but have manually re-assign your equipment
when working from one song to the next?
I noticed the AKAI samplers offer 32 channels (or more) of MIDI, so it would
alleviate this problem. Is it worth it? I'm not saying that most people
use more than 16 channels PER SONG, but to avoid having to change things
around too much from song to song where difference instruments are used for
each song....does this make any sense?
