Roland MV-30 Sequencer

MV-30, RM1x, EMU Launchpad, and Quickshot MIDI Controller go to the inputs
on MOTU Express XT. Outputs from XT go to various synths. All audio goes
to a Mackie 1402 VLZ. A Digitech Studio Quad is used for board FX.

No. I do however use a my MV-30 as a second, non-synced, sequencer. I use
the RM1x to play my actual songs, and I use the MV-30 for transitions
between songs.

P.S. If anyone's looking for an inexpensive pad machine, I would suggest
the Yamaha TG-33. You can usually find them for around $100, and its a very
underratted synth. Think of it as the poor-man's Prophet VS. It does
vector synthesis, which allows for some great evolving pad sounds, plus its
multitimbral and has a decent amount of polyphony, and it has more than one
pair of stereo outs. Its an excellent synth for trance or ambient, plus it
takes up very little space. It also has a very warm sound for being
digital.
