If the AKAI MPC 3000 has four midi outputs (64 channels) but two "merged" midi inputs, how does this work? Does that mean you can't use channel 8 on midi channel A and B in the same song? Or do you toggle when editing which midi (A,B,C,D) is recording? Just wondering!
