Honestly, though, Logic is fairly solid, but, of course, as once was said:
Get System Commander, make a fresh partition with ONLY the driver needed,
and then install only your music related software on it, and nothing else..
Then it will *probably* be safe to use.. I have a laptop set up like this,
with a fresh partition in wfw3.1, which has solid timing from hell.
