Yesterday, I exported a few rm1x songs as SMF+TG headers and opened them in Vision dsp. I'm hoping to do some edits on the computer with the 1x as sound module, then export it back. So vision called up the correct patches and track volumes; and the additional multi-track the Rm1x wrote for sound-effects settings produces something close. But the dry-to-wet level settings in the first voice screen weren't right, and the global effects settings (like whether reverb will be room 1, 2, tunnel...) didn't register. The biggest problem, though, is that the Rm1x won't recognize control change data coming off the computer. For example, on a track with some pitch-bend and volume-changes, only the notes sound, though the cc info. appears in vision's channel/track view. So after some playing around, I exported this as a type 1 SMF and re-loaded it into the rm1x. Then it played back with the correct patch and volume settings, but lost the effects settings. And the CC data is still misssed. I really want to be able to bring files back and forth between the puter and 1x, but these results make it much harder. I've been thru the manual several times and "experimented" with various solutions on my own and am getting stymied. Any thoughts, suggestions, comments ... ?
