Thanks guys for helping out... After trying Tara's record tip, it seems to be behaving itself a bit more, though if I set a voice by hitting pattern twice followed by record, the voice doesn't appear when I hit voice, that's still the old one. However if I now change the voice in the voice menu, it seems to keep it. The way I normally work is to turn on, go to a new style, go to section 1, go to track 1, then hit the voice button and twiddle the knob until I get the voice I want. I then press pattern and start recording. The problem I was getting was when I now twiddled knob 1 in pattern mode to go to another style, then coming back. It seems a bit better now though, so perhaps the OS had got into a bad state, and that record thing fixed it... BTW, it's OS 1.11... Is there a list of fixes from 1.11 to 1.12 ? What's the latest OS ? Is it worth contacting yamaha, or will they charge 100 quid, like they did with the A3000's OS's ? Thanks, -- - Richard
