I'm going to Phoenix, AZ this weekend to pay my last respects to a friend of mine who is about to pass away, having fought a vicious battle with cancer. Its an impromptu roadtrip, a small collection of his friends, desperately trying to beat the clock and spend some time with him before it's his time to leave us all. This'll be my first trip into the Arizona desert, and while its likely to be a sad one, if there are any TekLab list members out in that area it might be a good time to meet some new faces. Death is a harsh reality, and its times like this that I feel the need to look at lifes positives, and definitely meeting fellow list members would be a positive in my book. So if you are in the area and have some free time Saturday night, Sunday night (we'll be seeing Len Sunday morning), please let me know. Failing that, if any of you know of cool Arizona-desert stuff in that area that might be good to look at, something grandiose and beautiful to sit alongside my last memory of Len, then please let me know that as well. I expect that Sunday afternoon, on a mesa somewhere, watching the sun go down might just be what I need. Len was a DJ.
