Grid Step Recording

Hi,

I'm a RM1x beginner, so this might look a stupid question, but when I'm
recording in grid step mode, I can only hear the track I'm working on, not
the others I have already recorded. And they are not muted. Is this normal
(would be a real bummer) or am I overlooking something?
