Hi,
On some devices (like mine hx2790) display was shifted to the right
side of the screen. During boot, and in the GPE.

It wasn't actually very hard to be fixed. I guess it just lacked
somebody with the device, compiled toolchain and free friday. I mangled
a bit with a structure that was defining margins of the screen. I've
also taken look at LCRR registers but they seemed to be all right. I
also made some place in the kernel code for further changes, now it's
possible to choose during compile time your device from set of TWO
hx2000 devices. More can be added if there would be need though...

It would be cool if there was a method of autodetecting device. It
could be then choosen during boottime.

(..cut..)

Well, happy hacking. ;-)
