maybe Guenter Geiger (Debian/GNU) [EMAIL PROTECTED] is interested on your 
patches. he is the maintainer from hydrogen debian and ubuntu packages. do you 
have contact to him?
think he is very appreciative to your work.

and can you put your etch package to the server, i have an clean etch computer 
into my
electronics workshop. so i can try to install your etch package.
