Actually, revision 1729 seems to be okay.

What I did was open the corrupt song in the text editor and replaced
the corrupt id of the instrument with 13 (since the instrument before
it has 12). Also replaced all the occurriencies of the corrupt symbol
in the document with 13. Then the song loaded fine and since then
saving and loading of that song in revision 1729 is fine.

I would ask if you are planning in somehow fixing the freeze
situation. I mean - if a song is corrupt, the logical thing would be
for Hydrogen to notice and it and just say so and load an empty
project instead.
