i'll make some more variations until you DO like one of them  ;-))

no seriously, i absolutely agree that the logo is very well known and that
people link it to hydrogen (it's also a sort of 'quality label'). That is
also the reason why i started from the existing logo.

however, a subtle update would also indicate that hydrogen is very much
alive !  If we could link it to the 0.9.5 (once it is ready for release of
course) it would be a visual indication that a new version is available, and
let's face it : the 0.9.5 is a big step forward from the 0.9.4 so i
personally think it deserves it's own logo.

You are right that the logo is used in a lot of places, but i dont think
that should be a reason not to update it

like i said : i'll make some more variations and, who knows, you might
actually like one of them ;-))
to be clear : it is not my intention to push anything !
