well... these bugs are pretty nasty since this is rather basic functionality
:-(
IMO there are 3 options:
- fix these and postpone the 0.9.5 release
- dont fix and release a 0.9.5.1 once these have been fixed
- move to 0.9.6
the consequences :
- move to 0.9.6 means that it will be months before these bugs are fixed
- releasing 0.9.5 without the fixes > Edward will start to cry ;-)
- releasing 0.9.5.1 means that we can keep the current release target (i
know Sebastian loves release dates ;-)) and work on these bugs after the
0.9.5 release and the launch of the site. After a couple of weeks/months we
could release a 0.9.5.1 with these fixes + any other fixes for bugs that
might be detected on the 0.9.5.
personally i would go for a 0.9.5.1, (but that's just my opinion!)
Does anyone have an idea how to fix these bugs ? and also what the impact
would be (time wise) ?
if these are quick fixes, fixing them in the 0.9.5 might still be an option
...
