By the way, Looks like there is a bug in ThriftBroker logging. Errors generated by ClientService are not being logged at all, but HqlService errors (like parsing errors) are. One more possible way for improvement is recreate exceptions on client side in generated bindings, so when parsing of HQL fails - it would trigger some specific exception on client, not the common ClientException.
