Congratulations Cy! My fingers were crossed that you would
deservedly win the award. :)

FYI regional councils may nominate candidates for quarterly
O'Hara award winners that are announced in BI. One of those
winners gets the national trophy each year.

Congratulations to Hugh McManus for gaining a seat on the
NIA Board. Hugh joins Gary Ball in the growing list of
Board members who participate on I-Club-List. That bodes
well for we who know the potential power of using computers
for long-term investing education and an electronic
communication medium for teaching. :)

Candis mentioned that the three candidates who received
I-Club-List support got the most votes for the Board. Yep!
That fact corroborates what we know about the wonders of the
community that Joe Craig and Douglas Gerlach nurture and
work so hard to build.

And what about 'our' Mark Robertson? Psst! Some of you may
not know that the same Mark who is Senior Contributing
Editor of BI started out as an I-Club-List 'student' before
his career change to long-term investing writer
extraordinaire. :)

Thanks to all of you who lurk, question, contribute,
innovate, lead, and reinvent I-Club-List day by day. A
special thanks to the invisible WebOps who toil to keep this
list and the NAIC WebSite functioning. They are the
indispensable human capital that makes NAIC Online a dynamic
endeavor. NAIC Online includes I-Club-List, NAIC Web Site
<http://www.better-investing.org> and the NAIC CompuServe
Forum. Sysops are the WebOp counterparts on the CIS forum.

It is a given that NAIC succeeds due to the efforts of so
many people who volunteer of their own accord or willingly
say 'yes' to a request to fulfill a task. Congratulations
and many thanks to all of you.
