Wie,
Yg idle pemakaian listriknya lebih kecil.
Jika tidak ada sinyal input maka amplifier di dalam speaker aktif tidak akan
menyedot banyak arus listrik.
Bahkan menurut majalah hifi terkenal WHAT HIFI, membiarkan peralatan
elektronik dalam keadaan stand by lebih memperpanjang umurnya dari pada
sering mematikan & menyalakan.

Gua pengen coba buat kompie gua u/ sleep and wake-up dgn
WinAmp (pada saat gua mau bobo); tapi gua jadi pikir klo
speakernya kaga' ada yg matiin.. bukankah berarti listriknya
jalan terus and jadi boros listrik donk...? (klo kompie sih
gua maklumin aja... :-))
Apakah sama pemakaian listriknya antara "aktif speaker" yg
sedang dipakai (keluar suara) dgn yg tidak keluar suaranya
(idle) [tapi keduanya dalam posisi 'ON']
