Saya juga pernah mengalami hal serupa pada waktu membuat Adobe Acrobat file
& dulu Adobe Page Maker. Jika kita telah sering melakukan perubahan pada
dokumen dgn menekan tombol save maka sekali waktu kita perlu melakukan
command 'save as', ini akan memperkecil ukuran file.
Saya tidak tahu jawabannya, hanya menduga isi file2 tsb physically tidak
teratur karena penambahan atau penghapusan sebagian isinya.
Mungkin dpt dibandingkan dgn melakukan database compacting pad MS Access.

Dear Friend,
tadi malam saya sempat buka sebuah dokumen file MS word 97 sebesar 30 kb.
setelah saya ubah sedikit saya save menjadi 45 kb. Iseng-iseng saya coba
buka lagi, kemudian saya tambahkan satu karakter (space bar) kemudian
langsung
saya delete dengan back-space. Dokumen telah berubah dan perlu save lagi.
Ukuran file saya sekarang jadi 60 kb. Saya lakukan berulang-ulang dan file
saya
semakin lama semakin besar.
Hal aneh lainnya adalah apabila file besar tsb. saya save_as, maka ukurannya
akan kembali ke 30 kb.
Barangkali ada rekan-rekan yang punya pengalaman serupa dan sudah tau
jawabannya. Please share.
