~~~~~~~Forum Diskusi Software dan Internet untuk Kristen-Katolik~~~~~~~ sekedar informasi bagi yang membutuhkan, saya forward ini dari milis toekangweb: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone! I just found out about this 'Big Brother' utility that Adobe has probably installed on your computers since the release of Photoshop v6.0: Apparantly in an effort to fight the piracy of software, Adobe has created a program that runs invisibly in the background upon every access of the Internet that you do. Adobe has recently sued several DC companies for using software that isn't licensed to them and are asking for compensation in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is how it is done: The invisible program launches and gathers the programs that you are using and the serial numbers that you are using for those programs and forwards them on to Adobe Online without you knowing about it. This little program is called AOM. I understand Adobe's interest in cutting down the piracy, but I don't like the 'Big Brother' method that they are using. What other information is being sent about me. Kinda scary.... If you want to stop this program from launching and sending daily information to Adobe, do the following: Open up your System Hard Drive; Open up the System Folder; Open up the Application Support Folder; Open up the Adobe Folder; Open up the Web Folder; Delete the following files: * AdobeOnline Inventory * Adoberegistrationenu.html * AdobeWeb.dll * AOM (this may actually be running as an invisible file) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ... dan ternyata saya memang menemukan file-file tersebut, ada di direktori C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Web\ salam, jonny. ------ Hemat Bandwith : Hapus pesan yang tidak perlu sebelum reply ------ SUBSCRIBE---> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Isi/Body: kosong UNSUBSCRIBE---> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Isi/Body: kosong Moderator: Ronny <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Alex <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Web : http://hub.xc.org/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=i-kan-software
