Hi Jan,

It's this bug:
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=8246

Workaround when using 111a or later is to do "reload".
In older builds it doesn't work so remove
/var/pkg/gui_cache/*.cpl before starting packagemanager.
