Oh, I forgot that localization centers changed methods_de_DE.UTF-8.so.3 into methods_unicode.so.3 sometime ago.
Thanks for your email, Jenda. The output from /bin/ls -1R should contain de_DE.UTF-8.so.3 locale shared objects and methods_unicode.so.3 not methods_de_DE.UTF-8.so.3 (which is only for old systems).
