Hello,

I'm using i3 for 6 months now and I love it. I even made a donation some
time ago.

However, there is a issue bothering me and I would like to know if there is
a solution.

Let's say I open 3 terminal windows:

1) "Alt + Enter" opens the first;
2) "Alt + Enter" opens the second horizontally (default);
3) "Alt + v" and then "Alt + Enter" opens the third vertically;

So until now I have the screen split in 2 columns: in the first column I
have 1 window and in the second column I have 2 windows (1 above the other).

So let's say I select the second opened window and close it. If I switch to
tabbed mode, the third window is placed below/inside another window called
T[urxvt].

I know this occurs because of the containers thing, but I would like to
know if I can have the tabbed mode of without that T[urxvt] window. When I
open and close several windows and change the layout several times, a lot
of these additional windows are opened.

There is a way to solve this?
