Birders,
While at Waterworks Park this morning, I was surprised to find a
juvenile Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in the crabapple/conifer area along
Fleur Dr. Hopefully it sticks around for the Des Moines CBC in a couple
weeks.
At Gray's Lake, there were 2 rafts of ducks. One group had all Mallards,
and the other raft consisted of a dozen Lesser Scaup and 2 Ruddy Ducks.
