Roles :
a. Identify and consolidate
business requirements that will
then be translated and
implemented into sound solution
architecture.
Use a solid methodology, (e.g.
design pattern, etc) in
developing software
architecture, and proactively
ensure the design assumptions
and constraint, as well as
highlight the key strengths of
the architecture.
Acts as a lead and principal
software engineer providing
technical and project
leadership, including
involvement in the programming
effort, especially in the
critical area of the
architecture.
Provides productivity tools to
programmers, such as programming
template, components repository
and document template, etc.
Monitors, selects and
investigates emerging
technologies, identifies new
product opportunities, and
establishes technical product
positioning.
b. Lead in the quality assurance
initiative in the development,
implementation, and maintenance
phases, including but not
limited to :
Stays current with industry best
practices, and evaluates and
selects successful software
tools for implementation of QA
strategy.
Focuses on pragmatic execution
of QA activities to ensure
successful, on-time, on-budget
deployments of products.
Identifies incentive performance
measures to track quality
performance.
Lead the establishment of
disciplines & standard in
managing the company's
intellectual assets and solution
development cycle.
Responsible for SEI/CMM goals.
Oversees and mentors projects on
SEI/CMM Level 2/3
implementation.

Experience :
8+ years in executing and
managing full cycle software
development
6+ years in designing and
implementing distributed
application
4+ years programming with an
object oriented language
3+ years programming in a 3-tier
distributed environment
3+ years in executing quality
assurance processes
Familiar with the following
technology/approach/methodology:
J2EE, .NET, UML, Design Pattern,
Refactoring, Queuing, EAI.
