Those old enough may recall Maya Quest, even Oregon Trail as early computer-based learning activities that connected classrooms with (at the time) truly amazing adventures in far away worlds. I am useless at marketing, and IMHO that is the main element missing, for they will go to where the wild things are, really, and even beyond. Something that classrooms and simple Sugar and OLPC friends could enjoy and benefit from.
