In this webinar, David Lippman from Pierce College will introduce Opentextbookstore.com and MyOpenMath.com. Opentextbookstore.com provides a short list of open textbooks covering algebra through calculus that are ready-to-adopt, are available in printed form, and often have additional ancillaries available. For many of these books, MyOpenMath.com provides free, online, algorithmically generated homework, similar to WebAssign, which can be used by instructors with their classes, or by students for self-study. Many even include video lessons, classroom worksheets, and other resources. David will share the precalculus courses he created and his experiences using them in his classes.
