DEVELOPMENT GEOLOGIST: The scope of work will include all aspects of geological support including, but not limited to: 1. Technically knowledgeable and competent to participate in peer review to assess whether approaches taken by other development geologist are technically sound 2. Technical skills and experience in interpretation, reservoir characterisation, sedimentology, stratigraphy, and reservoir geomodelling · . integration of well, core and log data 1. Reservoir development planning work · Map reservoir inclusive of volumetric evaluation · construct 3D geocellular models and · work with reservoir engineers to provide input for simulation 1. Well documentation & approvals 2. Operations support during drilling phase including working with vendors to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of equipment, personnel, core and fluid samples. · Monitor development well drilling including post well analysis 1. Drilling phase: Liaise with well site operations geologist to have LWD logs sent in to the office. Interpret actual versus prognose - top picks, net pay, HCPV etc. Prepare drilling progress report for morning meeting with managers.
