one day rafting along Cimandiri River to examine superb outcrops along the
river edges.

OBJECTIVE COURSE
¨ To have concepts of sedimentology of fluvial-deltaic deposits
¨ To have Sedimentology characteristic on Talang Akar Fm. Equivalent by
directly observing the
rocks in analogue outcrops which are represented by the Bayah and Walat
Formation in
Sukabumi Area.
¨ To get general perspective of the stratigraphy and sedimentology of SW
Java Basin
THE INSTRUCTOR IS
Dr. Ir Andang Bachtiar,MSc.
23-year working experience in oil & gas exploration in Indonesia Basins
(Kutai, South Sumatra, Central Sumatra, and East Java basins) has documented
many examples of the said sedimentology and application in exploration,
which he will intensively share with you.

- Participants prepare the individual equipments such as personal field
equipments, sun block, sun glasses, mosquito protection, short-pants for
rafting, etc.
