CALL FOR POSTERS NOTIFICATION
The Seminar on Agricultural Sciences 2006
Main Topic of the Seminar:
“Indonesian Natural Resources: The Dilemmas of Utilisation and Conservation”
Introduction:
The Seminar on Agricultural Sciences 2006 (SAS 2006) is one of several activities organised by the Indonesian Agricultural Sciences Association (IASA), which head organisation is located temporarily in Japan. The commencement of SAS 2006 is an important event where scientists, researchers, students, and practitioners from the field of agriculture meet, exchange ideas, and brainstorm over various issues centred on the main topic, in order to produce ideas for better agriculture strategies and policies to support Indonesian national development.
With this notification we would like to invite students, researchers, policy-makers, agriculture practitioners e.g. farmers, agro-businessmen, etc., to present their latest findings and ideas in the form of posters, at the Seminar. 10 – 15 poster presenters will be able to present their abstract(s) at the Seminar. The selected presenters will be given a strict 5 minutes time to present their poster(s) to the audience, without any discussion session. Hence, if the Organising Committee accepts more than 15 poster-session applications, committee members will select the most presentable posters with utmost considerations. Yet, non-selected poster presenter applicants can still submit and display their posters at SAS 2006.
Please be notified: All the speakers at the first two sessions will be invited speakers. After the invited speakers sessions, we are commencing a poster session.
