Dear colleague,
The 10th edition of the Applied Statistics Week (ASW), an annual event organized at
Universitat Pompeu Fabra by the Continuing Education Institute (IDEC), will be held
from June 28 to July 1, 2004. This 10th edition focuses on the topic of "Causal
Inference, Missing Data and Measurement Error" and features the following three short
courses:
Course 1: "Basic Concepts of Statistical Inference for Causal Effects in Experiments
and Observational Studies" , by Donald B. Rubin (Harvard University)
28 and 29 June
Course 2: "Missing Data in Large-scale Surveys", by Nicholas T. Longford (De Montfort
University)
30 June
Course 3: "Causal Relationships with Measurement Error in the Data",
by Willem E. Saris (University of Amsterdam)
