Using Thread User Datasource with proxool in iBatis get hung

Larry,
I have been using the Thread User Data source by you for a time. But I found
out recently my app get hung after a period of time of transaction using it
with the proxool. I don't know if I need to write some configuration file as
the one in proxool's document for ServletConfigurator so I can specify some
properties or you have already had a built -in one.
Do you know what usually will produce this problem with proxool? I also got the
shutdown error.So I write ProxoolFacade.shutdown(1); when I end every action.
But I will see a IO exception every time I restart tomcat. What should I do
with that?
