Sybase jdbc driver version and BLOB handling

Thanks for all the advice (issue 62 on jira) in regard to BLOB/CLOB handling
with ORACLE. We have upgraded the drivers to 10G (which incidentily works with
ORACLE 8 and 9), upgraded the IBATIS jar files and found that the SQL Map
framework works fine at uploading and displaying BLOBS.
This next issue requires 3 simple answers:
1) will the BLOB handling work with Sybase?
2) If yes, what version of the drivers should be used??..jconn3.jar?
3) If yes, is there anything that needs to be differently within the SQLMap?
