Hi.

Sorry.. i just realized that i did not send the answer to the mailinglist. Just
for completeness:

I will give it a try tomorrow, but for now i have to sleep a bit. Here is what
I could get so far:

> > /etc/acpi/ibm/volume:
> > 'mute' is reported correctly and i am able to mute by 'echo mute...'
>
> Does it really honestly mutes, or does it just look like it muted?

the sound stops after echo 'mute' to 'volume' and the led on the 'mute'-button
lights up

> > Fn-Scroll
> which event?
ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 00006000

... i think this comes with it:

[ 3370.746675] thinkpad_acpi: THERMAL ALERT: unknown thermal alarm received
[ 3370.746681] thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6000
[ 3370.746685] thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event
happened to ibm-acpi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
