Hi, I am trying to boot Ubuntu 11.04 64bit on a Thinkpad Edge E420. I can boot the USB key successfully, but after installing to a physical ssd with VirtualBox 4.08, and then attempting to boot from that install I get:
THERMAL ALERT: unknown thermal alarm received unhandled HKEY event 0x6005 screenshot (large): http://gmatht.homelinux.net/xp/DSC_0071.JPG The computer clearly isn't completely frozen, as it reports when I remove an SD Card, but I cannot find any linux terms or a GUI. I also have problems with the radeon driver, but it still doesn't boot correctly, even when I set it to integrated graphics in the BIOS. -- John C.
