Great, as Jim Mulder mentioned Peter Relson's SETLOAD is the way to  avoid
an IPL to change the PARMLIB value. If it doesn't work due to  hardware
problems, results are unpredicable. I was actually doing one when the
SHARK issued a "powering down" message. Turns out the UPS service  folks
had left UPS in Maint mode;i.e. no power flows thru. It hadn't
taken and didn't try it again ever even on  SANDBOX.....
