You might try "quote site sbdataconn=(IBM-420,pc-arabic-codepage)" on the ftp session. Replace the pc-arabic-codepage with the local codepage on NT. However, I never thought about and am not sure right-to-left is supported on z/OS. Anyone care to enlighten me?
