No; the ISREDIT subcommand never sees the ampersand. The equivalent
code in REXX would not have that particular problem. There is an
additional ampersand issue in ISPF, including ISREDIT, for which
passing the line by name is also a fix, but I believe that SCAN OFF
would have fixed that.

CLIST has a no rescan facility, which another poster suggested. I
believe that it would be cleaner to just use REXX.
