HOWEVER, I would suggest trying to compile with NOOPT NOSSRANGE (if you aren't already) and see if that works. Also, are you using either the CICS or SQL "integrated" coprocessors? If so, I might try doing a separate step for "precompile" (or translate) and see if that helps.
