Disaster can happen during backup session, so the latest copy may be incomplete, but what about previous ones ? Is it possible to affect previous generation to be affected by broken operations on VTOC/VVDS/ICF regarding other datasets ?
I don't see how. This is the same as a system crash or power failure while datasets are being created. Those datasets may have errors, but existing closed datasets should have no problems.
