I think you missed the significance of doing the SE command in front of the *master* address space! Exactly what type of JCL are you expecting in *master* that you could re-submit? :-) I cannot even say that asid 1 is started sub=mstr. Sub=MSTR address spaces by default do not have anything JES can look into *unless* they request connection to JES later. So *master* does that for the syslog task, as well as a task in automation Netview (also started sub=mstr) for the AOFLOG.
