Thanks.   I thought it had something to do with in-stream proc
processing.
I have no idea if there is any way to control the converter allocation.
I doubt
it comes from the default in ALLOCxx.  You would still have to open a
PMR
with IBM to find out unless someone on this list knows the definitive
answer.
