I've searched Google and here and can't find a solution. Can anyone help?
This morning we started getting numerous SYSLOG messages similar to:
ICH408I USER(TCISPPX ) GROUP(F006A ) NAME(CICS REGION )
/u/f...@dft CL(DIRSRCH ) FID(...)
INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY TO CHDIR
ACCESS INTENT(--X) ACCESS ALLOWED(OTHER ---)
However, looking at permissions in OMVS, the OTHER permissions are not 0:
/u $ ls -la f...@dft
total 32
drwxr-xr-x 2 f...@dft SYS1 8192 Dec 21 2005 .
drwxrwxr-x 41 f...@rg SYS1 8192 Dec 10 09:01 ..
-rw------- 1 f...@dft SYS1 0 Dec 21 2005 .sh_history
The error message says ACCESS ALLOWED is --- but it's obviously R-X and the
parent is also R-X. The same applies to numerous other OMVS directories and
in almost all cases the error is on a DIRSRCH.
Is it possible that RACF and OMVS don't agree? Has anyone seen anything like
this?
Please help. I'm dying here.
